The 32nd annual SHE conference
24-25 May 2023 Croke Park, Dublin
Hosted by ESB Networks
This is the must attend event for all those working in the electricity industry at which industry leaders, trade unions, regulators, and stakeholders will meet to hear and discuss the key SHE issues facing the sector. The conference also provides an excellent opportunity to network, share best practice, and discuss current SHE challenges and priorities with colleagues as part of the sector’s ambition to both work collaboratively in support of its shared goals, and to be a safer, healthier, and environmentally responsible industry.
The 2023 conference theme is ‘Culture’ and the event will focus on how to develop those aspects of Safety, Health, and Environment culture needed to support the industry’s pursuit of continuous improvement and its wider Net Zero ambitions. Join us to hear from business leaders, SHE professionals, and subject matter experts on industry developments and case studies to help renew and refresh the sector’s approach to SHE culture.
The conference will also once again be a responsibly managed, sustainable event through the management of its carbon footprint and environmental impact.

The 31st annual SHE conference
The 31st annual conference took place 29-30 June 2022 at the Hilton, Brighton and was hosted by UK Power Networks. It's theme ‘Sustainability’ provided a forum for employees, employers, trade unions and regulators to network, share best practice and review safety, health and environment challenges and concerns.
2022 programme and presentations
The programme’s sessions address SHE issues from a national, regional and company perspective and, and given the conference theme this year, focussed on the increasing challenges of environmental management and sustainability whilst refreshing our approach to occupational health and safety.
The conference featured senior figures within the industry and external speakers who are experts in their field, to provide the stimulus for a renewed vision and approach to improving performance. The conference also fosters co-operation and improves contact between the companies and partners that comprise our industry.
